President Droupadi Murmu commended the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) for its combined approach to mental health care, which integrates modern medical systems with traditional methods, such as yoga and Ayurveda. Addressing the NIMHANS’s 50th-anniversary celebrations, she mentioned the institute’s significant contribution towards treating mental health diseases and said that its model should be applied globally.
